Overview
Maleic Anhydride (MA), also known as 2,5-Furandione, cis-Butenedioic anhydride, Maleic acid anhydride or Toxilic anhydride, is a white crystalline solid with a sharp, penetrating odor. It has the molecular formula C4H2O3 and a molecular weight of 98.06. As one of the most important industrial anhydrides, it is produced by the catalytic oxidation of n-butane or benzene and serves as a key building block for a wide range of polymers, resins and fine chemicals.

Packaging & Storage
Maleic Anhydride is supplied in 25 kg paper-plastic bags, 500 kg or 1,000 kg big bags, and molten form by heated tanker; custom packaging is available on request. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area in tightly sealed containers, and keep away from moisture, heat, strong bases and oxidizers.
