Introduction

Pigment Blue 15:3 (Phthalocyanine Blue BGS) is an organic pigment with a deep blue color and a green color. Its chemical formula is C32H16CuN8, CAS number is 147-14-8, and its melting point is about 480 ℃. Its β – type lattice structure endows it with excellent weather resistance, heat resistance (260-280 ℃ color retention), and chemical resistance, making it suitable for coloring in fields such as plastics, coatings, and inks. ‌

Feature

1. Weather resistance: The light resistance reaches level 8 (up to level 7-8), which can maintain color stability outdoors for a long time. ‌2. Heat resistance: It can withstand temperatures up to 280 ℃ and is not easily decomposed or discolored at high temperatures. ‌
3. Dispersion: It is evenly dispersed in coatings and inks, has good fluidity, and is not easily thickened. ‌
4. Mobility: Excellent migration resistance, suitable for plastics and other materials.

Typical Applications

1. Plastic industry: It is used for coloring EVA, PVC, PE and other materials, with both migration resistance and weather resistance. ‌
2. Coating field: It issuitable for water-based paints, alkyd paints, powder coatings, etc., with high coverage and bright colors. ‌
3. Ink industry: It is used for offset printing ink, solvent ink, and water-based ink, with strong solvent resistance. ‌
