| Pigment Orange 13 |
| Pigment Orange 13 (also known as Permanent Orange G, C.I. 21110) is a chemically synthesized bisazo organic pigment with a molecular formula of C₃₂H₂₄Cl₂N₈O₂ and a molecular weight of 623.49. Its molecular structure contains chlorine atoms and azo groups. It should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated environment away from light at room temperature and exhibits relatively high chemical stability. This pigment is prepared via the coupling reaction of 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine diazonium salt with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone, and is mainly used for coloring inks, plastics, coatings and rubber products. According to the group standard C.I. Pigment Orange 13, its quality inspection covers 6 indicators including appearance, color and relative tinting strength. Production must comply with environmental protection regulations. It is harmless to water bodies under normal usage conditions, yet its residues require standardized disposal. |
